At GRK Civils, we invest in our people through training schemes and qualifications and recognise all industry accreditations and associated schemes that improve health & safety across everything that we do. Below are just a few our company accreditations and staff training schemes we invest in to improve what we do and the service we provide for our clients.

CHAS - Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS). GRK Civils are fully committed to completing health and safety pre-qualification assessments to a nationally recognised and accepted standard. For health and safety pre-qualification in the UK, CHAS is established as the market leader. The scheme is available to suppliers providing goods and services and organisations seeking competent suppliers. Click here to view our CHAS Certificate.

Construction Line - Constructionline is the leading procurement and supply chain management recognised body acros the UK. The body collects, assesses and monitors standard company information through a process that is aligned to PAS 91 (the standardised pre-qualification questionnaire developed by BSI to reduce duplication within the construction industry).

Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) - CSCS was formed in the 90's with it main aims to improve site workers’ competence, reduce accidents and drive up on-site efficiency. The Scheme holds a database of those working in the construction industry that achieve, or can demonstrate they have already attained an agreed level of occupational competence.

Construction Plant Competence Scheme (CPCS) - CPCS is the largest and most highly recognised card scheme for the plant industry across the UK. The scheme is to prove the skills plant operators hold and the associated health and safety awareness acumen needed to operate such equipment.

Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) - SMSTS is a nationally recognised training course designed to help site managers stay up to date with the industry’s rules and regulations around working safely on a construction site. All of our site managers hold this qualification and are required to attend refresher courses where necessary.
